This is how I found Coach fast asleep in his bed last night. 

On a side note Coach is now sleeping in a big boy bed. Time, please stand still my babies are growing up way to fast!

Coaches Special Day

On the kids birthday Naphs takes the day off to spend the day with them doing what they want. Today Naphs took Coach to the zoo and they had a blast. After the zoo they picked up mom for lunch, and after that Coach and dad went to the store to pick out a present. Coach picked out an idog, which he LOVES! The day didn't end there, Naphs got Coach home in time for a long nap. Naphs spent the rest of the day creating this...

Then it was off to the park with some friends and family. What a fabulous day!

Happy Birthday Coach we LOVE you! 

Here are some of the many reasons why we love you...

You are full of personality and life.

When I say no it just encourages to get a mischievous grin and keep on doing the naughty thing you are doing.

You love to sing along with music playing in the radio. Your favorites are Abba's Momma Mia, Elmo's Monster in the Mirror, and anything on the Lilo and Stitch album.

You love to rile your brother up by stealing whatever he is playing with and running away as fast as you can. Guess what it gets him every time.

You are the most loving sweet little guy I know. No matter what you are doing you always take a moment to check in with me and give me a hug.

You look up to your big brother and love doing what he is doing.

I love it when I tuck you into bed and you snuggle right into your pillow and giggle when I cover you up.

You love to play soccer and you even sleep with your soccer ball.

You love being loved and I love loving you!

We are so glad that Heavenly Father trusted us enough to send such a sweet spirit as you into our home!

 

According to Ashie

Using a low slow voice Ashie likes to tell us the Easter bunny say's "gooood afternooooon"

Apparently it's time to blog again.

Ok! Ok! People here is your requested blog....and I thought nobody read this thing.

What do you get when you are a Franci' boy and are under 3? Apparently a right-of-passage of a broken left arm. Poor Coach broke his arm two weeks ago and yes, I am now just blogging about it. Sorry! We have been super busy.

So what happened? With out placing to much blame on me, it was totally MY FAULT, circumstantially. We were getting ready to head out the door to take the boys to our favorite sitter (hi little Miss!). Naph's was loading up the car, Ashie and Coach were following Dad out the back door, meanwhile I decided to let Mazie out before we left. Well, when I opened the sliding glass door, which is directly across the way from the back garage door, a wind tunnel picked up and forced the back door to slam really hard. Neither Naphs and I saw what happened, but we can only guess that when the door slammed Coaches fingers were still in the door. When he pulled his fingers out he must have lost his balance and rolled down the five garage steps. We checked his body all over and the only problem we could find was his poor smashed up fingers, which were on his right hand. He didn't scream or cry when we moved his left fingers and arm. After a long night of restless uncomfortable sleep in our bed Coach woke up Sunday morning and wouldn't use his left arm at all. That right there told us something was wrong. We spent the next four hours at the ER to get the confirmation we were looking for. Coach had a fracture near his wrist on his left arm. BTW if you are wondering his poor smashed fingers are just fine. Here are some pictures of my poor boys misery.

Bath times can be tricky, but thank heavens for hand towels, zip lock bags, small garbage sacks, and hair twisties.

Soccer Super Star

We decided to sign Ashie up for soccer to cure his winter boredom and in effect cure ours. We love watching our super soccer star.

So what if he actually never kicks the ball

He at least is making friends along the way!

So what if he spends most of his time twirling in the net,

He is learning what it means to be on a team!

Ashie's favorite things about soccer are: his new jersey, his new soccer shoes, and running very fast.

My favorite thing about soccer is the pride I feel at watching my boy try his very hardest!

My little guy

See my little Coach; he is funny. He makes us laugh everyday.
One of his most favorite things in the world is taking a bath. Once he hears the bath water filling the tub he comes running. Most of the time I have enough presence of mind to strip him down before turning on the bathtub. Sometimes I don't and here is the result...

A child so excited to be in the tub that he jumps in fully clothed, diaper and all. The silly part is he doesn't even seem to mind.

I love this little guy; he makes us laugh everyday!
