Where have we been?

We haven't been any where in particular, we just have been super busy. About three weeks ago I started working full-time and haven't had much time to attend to our blog. Yup, I am working full time again. To make a long story short, health insurance at Nate's new job will cost the family (gasp) $900 a month, so I took a full time job at the University of Utah's Marriott Library, just for health insurance. I have been working at the library in some capacity for the last ten years so when I asked for a job they were happy to open one for me. I am now the Annual Giving and Grants Coordinator for the library. What that means is I am in charge of fundraising small funds for the library anything under $25,000 is mine to raise. Within the next 18 months I should be raising 1 million dollars a year. Yikes! I am up for the challenge and am excited for the wonderful learning experience!

You ask, where are the boys while I work? Well I found a great little neighborhood daycare. They boys seem very happy at daycare so that helps assuage my guilt. It is hard working full-time when you have such little ones at home, but what is a family going to do when they can't afford health insurance. Hopefully, this is a short term solution.

Work hasn't kept us from having fun though. Last weekend we spent camping with Grandma C. and lots of cousins. Ah good times! Grandma C. sure does take care of us when we go camping with her. We can't wait to go back, seeing as she bought a four wheeler for us to play with. We love you Grandma C!

And this weekend we went a saw Wall'e twice on Kennecott's dime - THANKS Kennecott! Ashie and Naph's sure did enjoy Wall'e, Coach on the other hand got bored with it pretty fast. Luckily eating popcorn and candy kept him busy for awhile. Tonight we went up Millcreek Canyon for Bampa's birthday party. The boys had a blast getting dirty, Naph's and I had fun just being with family!

AND this week we will be celebrating Ashie's third birthday! Naph's likes to go all out for Ashie's birthday. I've attached a few pictures to show some of the activities we will be doing on our little guy's special day. From Wednesday night on we will be celebrating the 4th of July - got to love holidays!

Just when I thought I was looking good...

someone had the nerve to ask me if I was PREGNANT! In response I double fisted my belly fat roll and said "nope this is all me."

Seriously, when are people going to learn not to ask that question? Got that people never, I mean NEVEEEEER ask a women if she is pregnant, even if she is near bursting. Next time I get asked that question some fists are going to be thrown.

THANKS for the affirmation I needed about signing up for Weight Watchers. Now I am off to the bathroom to stick my finger down my throat to purge away my fatness. Like I could ever do that, but that is how I feel at this low point in my life.

SERIOUSLY NEVER ASK A WOMEN IF SHE IS PREGNANT. Especially if you are a women!!!

I am so glad to have these boys in my life, each one brings me so much happiness each and every day! I am so blessed to be a wife and a mother! Love it!!!

1. Being bitten by s snake (I would rather be mauled to death by a bear than bitten by a snake - crazy I know!). Ooooh I hate snakes! Birds scare me too, but not as bad as snakes do.
2. Death of a loved one.
3. I am afraid of bloody Mary and have been since the 4th grade. Yup, this is an irrational fear. Legend has it that bloody Mary comes out of a mirror if you say bloody Mary into the mirror 3 times at 2:00 a.m. This means I don't allow mirrors in my room and if I have to go to the bathroom at 2:00 a.m. I hold it for an hour so I don't have to pass the bathroom mirror. Seriously, I am a scardey-cat. I don't watch scary movies because I am such a wuss!


3 Goals

1. Spending some quality time hiking with my boys this summer. I love to hike and haven't done it for a long time.
2. Loosing 15 lbs by B's(my brother) wedding.
3. Cleaning out my messy basement and reorganizing my closets. Ah cleanliness is next to godliness!


3 Current Obsessions/Collections

1. Plucking my eyebrows - I pluck them every night. Sometimes I get a bit overzealous when I am plucking my brows. Don't laugh at me when my eyebrows are real thin, I must of had a busy plucking session the night before.
2. Beating my marathon time an hour.
3. Living a debt free life!

3 Random Surprising Facts about Myself

1. I hate my feet being touched, not even Naphs can touch them. Even worse than my feet being touched is when my toe nails are touched, yuk! And even worse than my toe nails being touched is people touching me with their feet, double yuk!!! I tolerate pedicures because I like my toes looking pretty!
2. I am very picky when it comes to lettuce. I judge a restaurant by the lettuce they serve in their salads, I demand romaine lettuce or better. If the restaurant serves iceberg chances are I won't go back. I hate bagged lettuce you can taste the nasty preservatives.
3. Cotton balls give me the heebi-jeebies. When I was a kid and I bit my tongue half way off I didn't cry because of the pain, I cried because I was afraid they were going to put cotton in my mouth. yuk! yuk! yuk! yuk! If medicine bottles have cotton in them Nate has to pull it out. If people put cotton between their teeth and rub my skin crawls. I really hate cotton balls. Blah!!!
