Coach tried to stow away, but alas there wasn't any room in daddy's luggage. Naphurs flew off to Vegas for a planning conference on Saturday and we won't see him again until Thursday. Have fun daddy and learn lots! We miss you!

RESULTS.... FINALLY!!!!!!!!

It only took me 5hrs and 46 mins. to run the marathon. I didn't make good time, but I wasn't going for time, my goal was finishing the marathon. Click here for the results page, you can find my results by my last name.

Now that I've completed my goal of running a marathon I am now contemplating beating my time by at least an hour in next years marathon. Don't get me wrong I am not a huge running fan. I am just getting greedy and want to better myself by improving my time. Yikes, I hope this doesn't turn into an obsession.

PURE FRUSTRATION!

So the results from the Salt Lake Marathon are in and mine are NOT posted. Grrrrrrrrr!!!!!!! Yup, that's right folks I ran 26.2 miles and the stupid little chip attached to my shoe didn't even track me (well at least that is what I am assuming). I don't understand it when I ran through the start line I heard it beep, when I ran through the two tracking stations along the route I heard it beep and when I ran across the finish line I heard it beep. So WHERE ARE MY RESULTS? I've e-mailed the Salt Lake Marathon people and the marathon tracking people for the last two days and no answers. Tomorrow I am going to make some phone calls using my not so nice voice. I want to know what has happened.

I've posted some not so flattering pictures of me along the marathon route as proof that I really did run it. Grrrrrrr!!!!
This is a picture of all the runners ready to start the race. The marathon runners and the half marathon runners started at the same place. There were tons of people. I don't think I started the race until 7 minutes after the official start time.


While running the marathon a saw a couple of heavy people who were braving the marathon and the thought that came to my head was good for them for taking on such a challenge. Well when I saw the pictures that were taking of me running the marathon I couldn't help but wonder how many people looked at me along the way and said good for her for taking on such a challenge. Bah Ha Ha!

LOOK WHO IS ONE!!!!

Yes, my little Coach turned 1 today and my emotions are very mixed about it. On one hand 1 year olds are super fun, they learn to walk and talk, but on the other hand I loose my cuddly baby.

I love seeing your little mind work, especially when you are doing something you know you are not suppose to be doing!
I love you from your head to your toes! You bring me joy each and every day and am excited to spend a life time of loving you and watching you grow. Just don't forget to give me some cuddles along the way! HAPPY BIRTHDAY my little Hay!

Martahon complete, what's next!

I DID IT I ran my FIRST and possibly last marathon! 26.2 miles baby! I don't know my exact time, I am guessing it took me somewhere between 5 hrs and 30 mins - 5 hrs and 45 mins. Once the results are in I will let you know.

Well I am off........to take one large painkiller and a long nap!
