Favorite California Retreat

Nate travels a lot around to different parts of California. On one of his travels he found this amazing hotel. What makes it amazing is.... It is affordable, it is nice, has a fun pool and hot tub, and is right on the beach. It has become our favorite California retreat. Whenever we save enough hotel points we go there for a nice weekend stay.

 Oh I forgot to mention there is a cool pirate park in walkable distance. Another win!

Sunday Photo Shoot

Every so often I like to do a Sunday photo shoot of my boys. I choose Sunday's because that is when we are all dressed up for church and looking super handsome. This is how the shoots usually turn out.

Every once in a while I can capture a cute picture.

I sure do love my silly boys here a few photos of their silliness caught on camera. I don't know why Heavenly Father decided to send me only boys. One thing I do know for sure is I am VERY blessed because he sent me the best ones. I love being a mom to boys! They bring me so much happiness everyday.

The Tooth Race

Coach has been missing his two top teeth for about 6 months now. When his two teeth decided to pop out around the same time as Tlex's top teeth it became a tooth race around our house. Every day we would check to see whose tooth would pop through first. And the winner was........

TLEX.

Coaches teeth seriously popped out the day after TLex's. It was fun that both boys milestone came around the same time.

Utah Visit

TLex and I made a little trip out to Utah to help Glama after her big surgery. Turns out Glama didn't need much help, but that is ok because we got to spend some quality time with her and Bampa.

We also found time to stop in and spend some time with Grandma Honnie and our Francis Cousins. This is TLex and his only boy cousin on the Francis side.

 It was nice to be on the other side of Facetime. Saying hi to my boys.

Spring Has Sprung

I love spring! The grass starts turning green, the flowers start to bloom, and the kids and I emerge from the home to suck up all the warm sun. Living in California we get spring about 2 to 3 months earlier than we did in Utah. Bonus!

 This boy was loving his status as a free range baby. He spent the day chewing on chalk and rocks, playing in the mud, running around that yard, and doing pretty much whatever he wanted. It was pretty much the best day of his young life.

Color Me Rad

Ash and I participated in the Color Me Rad race that came to Lancaster. And it was pretty RAD. I loved doing a special one on one activity with my boy. We both loved being blasted with color and getting super dirty.
