The things kids say...

Just the other night we were watching America's Funniest Home Videos as a family. One of the clips that came on was a family getting ready for trick or treating. The movie starts with a little boy around 4 yrs old dressed as a Power Ranger. The camera then pans onto his older sister who is dressed like a scary vampire. As she enters the room the little brother starts screaming and running away from his sister. Of course she had to chase him. I was laughing at the clip and Ash looked at me in all seriousness and said "mom that is not funny," I replied sure it is. To which Ash replied "he is just a little boy." Sweet Ash had empathy for this little boy. Must be an older brother thing as Coach was laughing at the clip with me.

The other day Coach was with us as we pulled up to St. Marks Hospital for a doctors appointment I had. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot Coach pipped up in the back in true hope fullness saying "mom do you have another baby in your belly." He was disappointed with my no answer. Coach sure does love having a baby in the house. He certainly is a good big and little brother.

Guess who is rolling over?

This guy!

At his 4 month check-up (at which he was actually 5 months) Scooby weighed in @ 16 lbs making him the light weight of the family. Scoobs is 50% in weight and 90th in height. We got ourselves another tall skinny guy in this family.

Who is Who?

This post is for all those people who tell me Scooby looks just like Coach. Can you tell them apart? I can. I thought this was a pretty easy test, but when I asked Naphs to identify his boys he got it wrong. I would love to hear from you, can you tell who is who? Remember it is between Coach and Scooby.

My Coach

While putting Coach to bed the other day he was talking to me about the movie Tron. He told me that he did not like Tron. I asked him why not? He put his hand on his chest and started thumping it and said "it makes my heart feel like this when the girls arm gets cut off". So cute he couldn't tell me the emotion he was feeling, but could tell me how it made him feel. We then talked about our feelings for a minute.

On the drive home from St. George we stopped at McDonalds and got the kids Happy Meals. As soon as Coach was done with his meal he promptly ripped the box apart according to the directions to make a hat. Only thing is Coach can't read. Either my boy is super smart and figured the box out on his own or he goes to McDonalds a lot and knew what to do from past experiences. Only Glama Tuzie can answer this as she is Coaches Mickey D's supplier.

Seriously I love my boys!
