We kept ourselves busy for the boys two week spring break from school.
Checking out the Endeavor Space Shuttle at the California Science Center
Los Angeles Zoo with Friends.
Edwards Air Force Base. We are lucky enough to get on base because dad is an Honorary Commander at Edwards. This means we are granted access on base, we are so lucky.
The museum on base may be small, but it is jammed packed with amazing Aerospace history.
After our visit to the base we meet dad at Domingo's. Domingo's is a hole in the wall Mexican Restaurant in Boron California that is famous to Space Shuttle pilots and test pilots alike. Whenever a space shuttle landed at Edwards the first restaurant the Astronauts went to was Domingo's. We had to check this place of history out.
After we went to lunch we headed over to dad's work to check out the mine and visitor center.
On another day we grabbed our British friends Jamie and Sarah and checked out the Devils Punch Bowl. The boys sure had fun running around, picking up rocks, and just being boys. Sarah and I were just happy we kept them all alive.
We sure love living in California and checking out all that it has to offer.
