Laundry at our house

My little helpers love dropping the laundry from above.
There is usually one "lucky" (depending how you look at it) soul who likes to have all the dirty stinky laundry dropped on them. Sometimes they even make laundry angels.
I am left with the sorting, washing, drying, and folding. The boys do have to put their clothes away. Lately I have found that Coach hides his clothes so he doesn't have to put it away. The joke is on him as I usually find it then he has to put it away again. This time in the proper place. Then he earns the honor of helping me fold all the laundry.

A day of play

This spring Nate and I caught a stomach bug that took us down pretty hard, we couldn't take care of ourselves let alone the boys. The boys were left to their own devices. It was like the Lord of the Rings at our house. Boys everywhere doing what they wanted. None of them felt that they needed to get dressed for the day, so they ran around in their underwear. They mostly spent the day playing out on the trampoline. They did a good job of playing nice and taking care of each others needs, and best of all no one got hurt. I must have found some strength to snap this picture. I am my mommies girl. Nothing stops me from taking a good picture.

Hoopsters

We got a basketball hoop and the boys are big fans. We got it mainly to keep the neighbors from parking in front of our house. Shhh, don't tell them that. Oh and it is good for shooting some hoops which we do quit often.

FHE

Sometimes our Family Home Evenings are duds and sometimes they are a huge success. This one I am happy to report was a huge success. We watched a movie that showed Christ washing the apostles feet and we talked about the significance of him doing so. Then we took turns washing each others feet. I believe that by serving our brothers we learn to appreciate them more. I was impressed that the boys were willing to serve their brothers without grumbling or complaint. Fun times at the Francis house!

Easter

I wanted matchy matchy boys this Easter. And much to Nate's chagrin I went bold with my color choices. Hey, I don't have girls, so I needed this.

I think they look handsome.

I am one lucky mom to have all these boys who adore me.

Birthday Boy

This year Easter fell on Coaches birthday. Coach was very happy about sharing a holiday with his birthday. I think he talked about it for 6 months or more.

Coach choose a ninja themed birthday party. It is safe to say that all ninjas invited to the party had a good time.

7 things I love about you, Coach

1. You are always creating, whether it be new games to play with your brothers, craft projects, Lego
inventions, or forts to play in.
2. You NEED your sleep. You beg to go to bed when you are tired. Unlike your brothers when your
head hits the pillow you are out cold and sleep through the night. You are my earliest riser in the
morning, but I will take it as I know you got a full nights sleep.
3. You love school and your teachers. You always come home from school and tell me nice things
about your teacher. You are well behaved for your teachers as I always get nice reports from both
your primary teacher and your school teachers.
4. You help others in need. There is a boy that has been in your classes since kindergarten that is in a
wheelchair and the aide that helps him tells me how good you are too him. You make sure he has a
seat at the lunch room table, you help carry his stuff, and are always watching out for him.
5. You adore your big brother Ash. You are devoted to him. I love that special bond you two have.
6. You can squeeze under any bed and clean out all the things under there. You always seem to be
willing to do this and I appreciate it as I love a clean room.
7. You still love a good cuddle and dad and I sure do love to cuddle up next to you.

and one more to grow on.....
8. You are the loudest and best singer in the primary. You know every word to the songs and seem to carry the primary when you are performing for the ward. I love it!
