Baptism Day

These two cute cousins were baptized on the same day.

I hope my little Ash remembers his baptism as a special day. A day where he made the choice to be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Where he was given the gift of the Holy Ghost from our Heavenly Father who loves him very much.

It was great that we had the opportunity to Baptize Ash and Abizella at the same time. Abz and her family live in Massachusetts and we live in California. This may be the only time that cousins in our family will be baptized together.

So many family members came out in support of these two. We are so very blessed with a family that loves us so much.

The practice dunk. I think they have got this.

The Miller cousins in town from Texas

Grandma Honnie

It is a shame we didn't get a group shot of the Davis side of the family. Lol! Might of been because there were way too many of us to organize. My mom says the only picture she regrets are the ones she didn't take. This is the shot I regret not taking.

The Baptism After Party
The boys and Lil' Missy. We love MISSY!

Missy started babysitting Ash when she was 11 yrs. old and he was just 3 months old. Missy is like a second mom to my boys and we miss her terribly. Too bad she couldn't have moved to Cali with us.

The Crooks Byz. The Crooks are our families BFF's they have 4 boys just like us and they all are around the same age. It is awesome!

Uncle Dan, Aunt Louise, Uncle David, and Aunt Carolyn came to celebrate with us too.

Enjoying some PIE pizza. Ash's favorite and only request for his baptism.

Ash and his Davis cousins in the same age group. Sam is the oldest by two years, than Ash, Abz, and Nick.

My cousins Brooke and Leslie's kids. Brooke and her kids live back East and visit the Bennion's often and Leslie and her family use to live in California and we use to meet up in Disneyland.

Love these gals. Me, my sisters, and mom. Nersey is taking a picture of Brian taking a picture of us.

Utah Trip

We were lucky enough to take a two week trip back to Utah this summer. Our time was spent making memories with our family and friends. Jenny and Matt blessed their sweet new baby Brian, we threw a wedding shower for Little Missy, went on a pioneer trek, ate A LOT of hotdogs, camping trip, cabin time, backyard picnics, meet our newest cousin Quinn, water parks, meet up with friends, visited our old neighborhood, and baptized Ash. Good times! We are all saying when do we get to go again. SERIOUSLY, we miss our family.

Dad's new baby!

Dad FINALLY got his new car! He waited very patiently for 20 months for his new baby. He researched, test drove, and watched the internet closely before he found his perfect car. This Baby can drive to Salt Lake City on one tank of gas. That's right it can go 790 miles. That is why I bought off on the new car. Nate has to drive 60 miles one way to work. If you do the math he is driving 600 miles in a week. He was filling up three times a week when he drove the truck to work. Now with the new car he only has to fill up once a week. SWEET!

Nate named his car Oliver. A little while after we had TLex I said to Nate what if we are not done having kids. I feel like there is an Oliver waiting for us. Nate promptly named the car Oliver so we wouldn't have to have a baby Oliver. Lol!

Four Months of Loving You!

When you were born we thought it would be fun to get some time lapse photos of you in the Tonka Truck. The picture in the bottom left is of you at two weeks old. The picture in the bottom right is you at two months and the one on the top is you at four months.

You are such a fun loving, happy go lucky guy. You really love your bouncer as you love to be up and doing stuff. No more laying down for you. I think you are going to learn how to run before you even crawl. There is no keeping you back with 3 older brothers.
You are such a smiley little guy. Your sweet smile melts my heart.
Your brothers love you so much. Ash and Coach think they are big enough to carry you around the house. Mom thinks otherwise.

Look who is 8!

I can't believe that my oldest is now 8 years old. Seriously!?! Where did the time go and who said you could grow up so fast?

For Ash's special father son birthday date they went to Universal Studios rode some rides and did some bday shopping. Ash picked out this cool blazer and tie for his baptism.

We had a special family party that night. Ash requested a jet cake. I think Nate did a awesome job granting that request.

Ash got a guitar for his bday and will be starting lessons this fall. He is so excited to pick up on this new hobby.

8 things that make you GREAT!

1. You love having fun and are always ready for an adventure. You hiked to the top of Granduer Peak in Utah at seven years old. Not many seven year old can say they have hiked to the top of a mountain.

2. You are so full of energy. When you were a wee little guy about two you would ALWAYS start off running by running in place with your fists pumping and then you would take off from there. It was adorable and I regret not ever capturing it on a video camera.

3. You make friends really easily. Your personality is so fun and inviting people just want to be your friend. Even from a young age you would go to a park and make new friends instantly.

4. You are the BEST big brother. You get along with your brothers so well. They all look up to you and love you so very much. Always remember this as you will always be an example to them.

5. You are my little buddy. I love it when you invite me to ride bikes with you or go roller blading. I love spending time with you.

6. You have determination. When we got our Disney Annual Passes one of the first times we were at California Adventure we were on the pier across from the biggest scariest roller coaster there. I remember looking at you and asking if you wanted to ride that roller coaster you instantly said NO WAY! I walked away from you so I could take your brothers to see Mickey Mouse. While we waited in the line you were only a few feet away staring up at the roller coaster. As soon as we finished with Mickey Mouse (less than five minutes) you came to me and told me you were ready to ride the coaster. You just needed time to work out in your head if you could do it. Once you determined you could you were ready. Now California Screaming is your favorite ride. One day you decided you wanted to learn how to ride roller skates, so you put them on and you did you learned how. Pretty fast I might add. A month later you decided that you wanted to learn how to ride roller blades. You put those puppies on and there was no stopping you. Everyday after school you would put the roller blades on and practice. Now you are awesome at roller blading.

7. You pick things up really quickly and are willing to teach others. When you were 5 1/2 years old you learned how to ride a bike. Dad taught you really quick by telling you the secret to riding a bike. The secret is eyes forward and petal fast. That is exactly what you did and you were off. The next week our next door neighbor Sam was playing outside with you. You sat him up on your bike and told him the secret to riding a bike. You pushed him off on his way and taught him how to ride.

8. You are so smart. Math is your favorite subject. You pick it up so quickly and love learning new concepts. You are your father's son. You did so great in school this year. Keep it up!
