LOOK WHO IS ONE!!!!

Yes, my little Coach turned 1 today and my emotions are very mixed about it. On one hand 1 year olds are super fun, they learn to walk and talk, but on the other hand I loose my cuddly baby.

One year full of love, laughs, and FUN!

I love how cuddly you are, especially when you cuddle up with me in bed at night!
I love your mischevous spirit - I know you are going to keep me on my toes!
I love your sweet toothy grin!
I love your big beautiful BLUE eyes!
I love your sweet little baby kisses!
I love how you rock-out whenever you hear music!
I love how you giggle when you throw your food to Mazie! Mazie loves it too, well at least the food part!
I love how you have to point-out and discuss every picture hanging on our walls!
I love that you adore your older brother!
I love that you are starting to walk! However, I love watching you crawl!
I love seeing your diaper clad bottom!
I love how busy you are!
I love seeing your little mind work, especially when you are doing something you know you are not suppose to be doing!
I love you from your head to your toes! You bring me joy each and every day and am excited to spend a life time of loving you and watching you grow. Just don't forget to give me some cuddles along the way! HAPPY BIRTHDAY my little Hay!

Mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm spaghetti dinner, one of Coaches favs!

If you can't guess our birthday theme was bugs.

Thanks to all of our family and friends who made the looooong trek out west to celebrate Coaches special day! We love you family!

I am not going to lie folks I am starting to get ANXIOUS for my race. Yikes! It is tomorrow and I can't believe it! I am really excited for it to be over and my goal of running in a marathon before I am 30 will be complete (6 months before my 30th birthday mind you). It is just that I have to actually run 26.2 miles, wooziers!

Momentous Day

Today was a momentous day for a few reasons...............
Reason number 1 - ASHIE peed in the big boy potty! Hooray!

We've been trying to get Ashie to use the big boy potty for weeks now and haven't been successful, to be honest we have only been training him half-heartedly. Ashie was very proud of himself after his big accomplishment. Hopefully, he continues to use the big boy potty!

Reason number 2 - I finally ran 20 miles! Go me!

I have been putting and putting this 20 mile run off for weeks now, but alas I couldn't put it off any longer seeing as the marathon is a week and a half away. The first 17 miles were fairly easy the last three were stinking hard. Seriously, I hit a wall. Lets just say I did a lot of walking in the last 3 miles. Blah! 20 miles is 20 miles if I walk or run, so I am stinking proud of myself!

Reason number 3 - It is official I finally signed up for the Salt Lake City Marathon!

That's right folks I paid $87 to run this marathon so there is no turning back now. I am excited to get this goal off of my list. I do like running I just HATE running for 3, 4, 5 hours straight - yuk! I can't wait to get back to 3 mile runs that only take 30 minutes. Ah the easy life.

I LOVE COACH!

nuff said!

I get a kick out of Ashie!

Tonight we had the cub scouts over for our weekly meeting and Ashie had a grand old time. I love it because he thinks the scouts come over purely for his enjoyment. Ashie loves to direct the scouts around and show off all of his toys. While the boys were in the basement playing with Ashie's toys he ran upstairs and grabbed a handful of cookies. On his way down the stairs he explained to me that he got the boys a treat. Once downstairs he said "boy's I have cookies" and began passing them out to each boy. He is such a good host - I love it!

Washington D.C. Trip

Last week I spent four days in Washington D.C. working hard pulling together a very important donor meeting and I am glad to say everything went off without a hitch! I am so good at my job! On my free time I was able to see some of the sights D.C. has to offer. All and all it was a good trip!

Super dad Naphs didn't even flinch when I hopped on a plane and wished him luck on weaning Coach. Yes, that is right I left Naphs to wean my baby. All and all I think weaning was hardest on me emotionally and physically. Little Coach loves cows milk and doesn't seem to miss my milk at all. sniff!

Naphs is such a cute and thoughtful husband, when I came home from my trip and stepped off the escalator at the airport he handed Ashie a beautiful bouquet of flowers and had him run towards me with it. Seriously, it was so cute it brought tears to my eyes and all the mommies in the area were impressed on the cuteness of my hubby. Enough so that they came and told us so. I am a lucky women!!! I love you Naphs!!!
