Four Months of Loving You!

When you were born we thought it would be fun to get some time lapse photos of you in the Tonka Truck. The picture in the bottom left is of you at two weeks old. The picture in the bottom right is you at two months and the one on the top is you at four months.

You are such a fun loving, happy go lucky guy. You really love your bouncer as you love to be up and doing stuff. No more laying down for you. I think you are going to learn how to run before you even crawl. There is no keeping you back with 3 older brothers.
You are such a smiley little guy. Your sweet smile melts my heart.
Your brothers love you so much. Ash and Coach think they are big enough to carry you around the house. Mom thinks otherwise.

Look who is 8!

I can't believe that my oldest is now 8 years old. Seriously!?! Where did the time go and who said you could grow up so fast?

For Ash's special father son birthday date they went to Universal Studios rode some rides and did some bday shopping. Ash picked out this cool blazer and tie for his baptism.

We had a special family party that night. Ash requested a jet cake. I think Nate did a awesome job granting that request.

Ash got a guitar for his bday and will be starting lessons this fall. He is so excited to pick up on this new hobby.

8 things that make you GREAT!

1. You love having fun and are always ready for an adventure. You hiked to the top of Granduer Peak in Utah at seven years old. Not many seven year old can say they have hiked to the top of a mountain.

2. You are so full of energy. When you were a wee little guy about two you would ALWAYS start off running by running in place with your fists pumping and then you would take off from there. It was adorable and I regret not ever capturing it on a video camera.

3. You make friends really easily. Your personality is so fun and inviting people just want to be your friend. Even from a young age you would go to a park and make new friends instantly.

4. You are the BEST big brother. You get along with your brothers so well. They all look up to you and love you so very much. Always remember this as you will always be an example to them.

5. You are my little buddy. I love it when you invite me to ride bikes with you or go roller blading. I love spending time with you.

6. You have determination. When we got our Disney Annual Passes one of the first times we were at California Adventure we were on the pier across from the biggest scariest roller coaster there. I remember looking at you and asking if you wanted to ride that roller coaster you instantly said NO WAY! I walked away from you so I could take your brothers to see Mickey Mouse. While we waited in the line you were only a few feet away staring up at the roller coaster. As soon as we finished with Mickey Mouse (less than five minutes) you came to me and told me you were ready to ride the coaster. You just needed time to work out in your head if you could do it. Once you determined you could you were ready. Now California Screaming is your favorite ride. One day you decided you wanted to learn how to ride roller skates, so you put them on and you did you learned how. Pretty fast I might add. A month later you decided that you wanted to learn how to ride roller blades. You put those puppies on and there was no stopping you. Everyday after school you would put the roller blades on and practice. Now you are awesome at roller blading.

7. You pick things up really quickly and are willing to teach others. When you were 5 1/2 years old you learned how to ride a bike. Dad taught you really quick by telling you the secret to riding a bike. The secret is eyes forward and petal fast. That is exactly what you did and you were off. The next week our next door neighbor Sam was playing outside with you. You sat him up on your bike and told him the secret to riding a bike. You pushed him off on his way and taught him how to ride.

8. You are so smart. Math is your favorite subject. You pick it up so quickly and love learning new concepts. You are your father's son. You did so great in school this year. Keep it up!

Father's day

We have the best dad! Who else would wear a homemade tie with his kids faces on it to church.

Bampa got one too and he actually wore it to church as well. His tie had picture of all of his grandbabies on it.

Our dad is the best as he wrestles with us, he takes care of us, makes the best pancakes and homemade rolls, plays with us, takes us on many fun adventures, and so much more. We love you DAD!

TLex's Big Day

Our sweet boy was blessed and given a name today. I can't believe he is already three months old. Almost too old to bless as three month olds are so wide eyed and alert. Thankfully, TLex just looked at the strange men in the circle as they bounced him. No tears were shed. Few!!!

We are so grateful that Glama Tuzie and Bampa Jim came out to celebrate with us. I love that we live close enough to family that they can drive up and spend special occasions with our family. We are so loved and blessed. Thank you Glama and Bampa. We love you!

We are also grateful that my cousin Wes and his son Curtis came from Bakersfield (1hr and a half drive) to be with us too. You will learn TLex that family is very important no matter where you are. We also had our Home Teachers in the circle Brother Bullard and Brother Bartels, they have been so very good to us since we have moved here to California. Also in the circle was Brother Moulton he is another ward member and works with dad. You will come to learn that ward families are important too. They are given to us from Heavenly Father as an extra level of support and love. We feel so blessed for our ward family.

Dad did a beautiful job giving your blessing. I want you to know dear TLex, that you are so very loved by your whole family and your Heavenly Father. Please always remember that your Heavenly Father is always there for you and if you follow His plan He will pour out many great blessings to you. Your family will always be there for you too.

I can't believe that we are a family of four boys. Good thing I wouldn't have it any other way. Ash and Lil B pal around a lot which makes Coach feel VERY jealous and left out at times. I tell Coach to just wait as I gave him you as his own special little buddy. My hope is that all of my boys love each other very much and form special bonds with one another. We are going to have so much fun as a family you just wait and see.

We love you TLex and are so happy to have you part of our Eternal Family.

Mothers Day

I love being a mom! My boys are always so fun to be around. I love watching their little brains work trying to figure new things out. I love seeing them interact with each other, especially when they are playing so nicely. I love how they love and trust me so unconditionally. I thank Heavenly Father everyday for sending me my wonderful sons.

Happy 6th Birthday Coach

Somebody in the house turned a year older. Coach is not one to let us forget about his birthday. I am pretty sure he talked about his birthday all year, especially when he started school and he saw that you celebrate your birthday at school as well.
 Coach with all his loot.
Coaches Despicable Me cake. You ask for it and dad can create it. The cake turned out so cute!
Lego's make the best presents. Thank you Grandma Honnie and all the grandparents for all the great gifts!
We had a family party and then a friend party where Coach invited two friends from the ward to go to Chuck E Cheeses with. Good times were had by all.

Dad took Coach on his special father son date to Universal Studio. They walked around the park, but Coach wasn't into it he needed Ash to be there with him. All he could talk about is how Ash would be jealous and that he needed to buy something from a store to make Ash even more jealous. Obviously  Ash and Coach spend a lot of time together and we need to separate them a little more so they can create their own identities.

Six things I love about Coach.

1. Coach is a creative soul. He is always asking if we can do a craft. I need to get better at providing him material so he can.

2. Coach LOVES to dance. Turn on music and his body just starts to move. He has some real good moves too. I really need to sign him up for some dance classes.

3. Coach is my cuddler. If Nate or I sit on the couch Coach is instantly on our lap. He also asks for us to cuddle with him at night when he goes to bed. I need to take this opportunity more often.

4. Coach is an awesome playmate. He plays well with his brothers (most of the time). I do have to say he plays better with Ash than B, but we are working on this. He also loves Mr. X a lot. Of all my boys he plays with the baby the most.

5. Coach is a good student. He loves learning, he loves his teacher Ms. Mealey and his classmates. He is always telling me about what Ms. Mealey has taught and what him and his friends did that day.

6. Coach is my best sleeper. When he goes to bed he falls asleep almost instantly. He seems to need sleep more than his brothers. He may go to sleep earlier than the others but he is my earliest riser. He is usually the first one up at 6:30 and pulls the rest of us out of bed. His favorite way to get dad out of bed is to wrestle him.
