Happy Halloween

We had a spooktacular Halloween! We started off the evening trick-or-treating in our neighborhood with dad. Thinking we didn't get enough of a haul we headed over to Aunt Charlene's for round two of trick-or-treating with our favorite lil' Missy and her friends.

Trouble with a capital A

On weekend mornings the boys usually pile into our bed when they wake up. This morning like most mornings Coach woke up before Ash and joined us in our bed. When Ash finally rolled out of bed around 7:30 a.m. he came barreling into our bed. When I heard him coming I said "here comes trouble with a capital A." A second later Coach replies "I am not trouble because I do not have a capital A in my name." Ha!Ha! What a smartie! I sure love my boys!

That's my boy!

Recently I pulled out some old photo's of mine and I was pleasantly pleased to see I actually have a kid that comes from my genetic make-up. Seriously, I love it! We always knew Coach acted more like a Davis than a Francis, but who knew he actually looks more Davis. No wonder why I think this guy is so stinking adorable!

Ash on the go

I wanted to write a nice little post about Ash learning to ride a bike and I never got to it. He actually learned in the spring. I also wanted to post pictures of him riding his bike and never took a moment to take a picture. Well last week Ash's back tire on his bike was accidently run over by dad's car. Whoops. Anyway now that I can't take a picture to add to this post I thought I could at least put up the story of Ash learning to ride.

One day when Naphs came home from work Ash told him he was ready to learn to ride his bike. Naphs promptly helped Ash on his bike and told him the secret to riding a bike. The secret is "peddle fast and then you got it." As soon as Ash learned that secret he was off. Seriously Naphs only had to push Ash down the street once. Ash has spent the rest of the summer riding his bike. He loves it!

Flash forward a few months later. Ash is out front with one of his best pals the next door neighbor S, who is a year younger then Ash. S had pulled his two wheeler out onto the street and Ash was helping him to learn to ride. With Ash holding the bike up S hops on and Ash then tells him the secret to riding a bike. Ash held onto the back of S's bike until he got the hang of it. Which didn't take long. Together the two boys have had a blast racing down the streets, jumping their bikes off curbs, and teaching each other new tricks (i.e. riding with out hands).

I sure do love my Ash! He is such a good boy. He loves being with his friends and also loves to have Coach tag along.

The boss of the house

Last Saturday we took a day trip up into the Uintah's. As part of our trip we stopped at the Hayden Peak sign to get a picture of Coach with the sign. Upon returning home from our day trip Coach and Ash were playing out front. Coach wanted something from Ash, which prompted Coach to inform Ash that he is the boss of the house because his picture is on a billboard and his name is on a mountain. Seriously?!!! Such attitude for a little guy! I wonder where he gets it from? I claim that Coach is my brother Steve's son sent to me by mistake. Mistake or not I love Coach, he certainly keeps me laughing.

Have you seen Coach?

How could you not? He is on 3 huge billboards through out the Salt Lake Valley.

Coach billboards can be found at the following locations. Try and spot him next time you are passing by.

South bound I-15 before the 9000 south exit
North bound I-15 between 11400 south and 9000 south not quit sure as I have't seen this billboard
On 500 South and about 300 west just look left before entering the freeway.

Uncle B landed Coach this modeling career. Thanks Uncle B!

This never gets old!

I love when I find these pictures on Nate's IPad. My boys are so silly!
